The vapouriser became hot a clicked on the button to switch to LPG and switched straight over to LPG and ran there was a pressure of 2.5 bar.

I have a 96 MKII P38 4.6 V8 HSE on a 80Ltr Prins LPG System, which i adore and love and has now started to show problems, I bought her 2 years ago and she ran without any problems, this winter just gone her LPG systems wouldn't kick over to LPG, after a couple of minutes on petrol, so i checked online and read about LPG freezing in the vaporizer, so it took it as this was what was happening to my system, and ran her on petrol till the end of winter and thought now the weather is improving I now started to investigate why my system wouldn't switch over to LPG.So I bought a USB Diagnostic cable and the software, connected to the P38 followed all the instructions that came with the system, and found out that the problem was low pressure from the tank to the vaporizer, so back online and read up about the vaporizer, hours of reading decided it needed a service so bought the prins service pack for the vaporizer, (couple of diaphragms and various sizes of o-rings), so took the vaporizer of the car and began to strip down the unit, changed all the o-rings and fitted the new diaphragms and put it back in the car, checked the Gas filter which was surprisingly clear, and ran the diagnostic software and fine tuned the vaporizer so that it ran at the same RPM as it did on petrol.
